SAMADHAAN – The Social Marketing Campaign

Samadhaan gives you the opportunity to resolve social issues rooted deeply in the rural psyche. If you believe you have it in you to ask the "why's", "what's" and "how's" of issues marketing experts would not touch with a ten foot pole, this is the place to prove your mettle. Demonstrate how your can untangle these spools of interwoven problems, armed with nothing but your wilful heart and your creative ingenuity, through your marketing prowess. Create a video that hits the nail on the head.

Format and Submission Criteria
1) Selected teams have to make a film of not more than 4 minutes.
2) Find extended details at rules and regulations section.
Film format:
1) 5 seconds of black before title
2) Title of the film
3) Name of the Subject the film is based on
4) City
5) Final film
6) Logo of Udaan with message ‘Udaan- Unfurl the Spirit’, dates and website of Udaan before credits part.
7) Credits
For any additional images, graphics or material you might want to add to enhance your film, kindly use royalty free content.

Language / Subtitles
- Participants are free to make the film in any language of their choice provided the film has English subtitles. Subtitles are compulsory for the uploaded version of the films.

- Participants are requested to use only royalty free music for the film to avoid any copyright issues.

Film Duration
- Each finished film should be no more than 4 minutes in total duration, including titles and credits.

- Each film must include titles and credits. Credits are limited to a maximum of 60 seconds. Participants using royalty free music are requested to give credit to the respective artists for the same.

- This event is open to all students.
- Participants should participate in teams comprising of 3 members each from the same institute.
- The team size does not include the actors involved in the film.
- A team can consist of students from first year or second year or both, irrespective of specialisation.
- A student cannot be a part of more than one team.
- There is no restriction on number of teams from an institute.
- All the entries should be submitted to udaan2015@irma.ac.in
- Decision of the organizers will be final and binding.
- Production: Participants are not allowed to use any footage that has not been shot in their allocated film project duration.
- Animation/special effects are allowed only if they have been created during the allotted film project duration.
